Katie Shane

Katie Shane joined WTWO as a reporter in November 2006.

Before moving to the Wabash Valley, Katie worked in production for Fox Sports Network (FSN) in Atlanta. She also reported for Georgia Public Broadcasting on its high school sports show.

Katie graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a second concentration in Kinesiology.

While at IU, Katie worked as a reporter and managing editor for IU’s student-run newspaper, the Indiana Daily Student and for the Bloomington PBS affiliate, WTIU. During college Katie discovered a love for car racing, while working for NBC Sports NASCAR.

She interned at RTV6 in Indianapolis and WHAS 11 in her hometown of Louisville, Ky.

When she's not looking for news stories Katie loves volunteering and meeting people in the community. She's a member of the Terre Haute Young Leaders, Professional Women's Group, Tri Kappa and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
