The search for a missing Greene County woman has ended.

The body of Esther Risher, 93, of Linton was found this morning along the west fork of the White River, just northeast of Wheatland.

A resident of a nearby river cabin spotted Risher's car. Her body was discovered not far from the car.

Knox County Sheriff's Police say Risher appears to have been dead for four or five days. There were no signs of foul play. An autopsy is pending.

Family members reported Risher missing on May 26. That's when she failed to show up for a card club meeting.

Risher suffered from mild dementia.
