Kate’s Saratoga Strawberry Pie Recipe

Mix 1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 Heaping tablespoons of cornstarch

Heat until thickened.

Add 3 tablespoons of strawberry jello.

Cool approximately 10 minutes.

Either add 1 quart of strawberries or place the strawberries in a backed 9 inch pie shell and pour the mixture over them.

Make sure strawberries are stemmed and dry.

LET COOL COMPLETELY.

Add whipped cream if desired
