Leanne Tokars anchors Fox 38 News, First at Ten. If she looks familiar, you’re right! In 2006, Leanne anchored the then Fox “Prime Edition” newscast before returning to her hometown of South Bend, Indiana.

Leanne spent more than two years working at WSBT-TV in South Bend. While there, one of her reports on identity theft prompted changes at two state-run agencies. It also won an Associated Press award for “Best Investigative Report” in Indiana.

She began her news career at WTWO as a reporter and producer. Leanne was quickly promoted to anchor the “Prime Edition” after one year on the job.

At the University of Notre Dame, Leanne majored in Marketing. While there, she spent time in New York City interning at Fox News Channel. She also interned in television news in South Bend.

Leanne enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever Riley.
