Reported by: Sarah Fortune Saturday, Mar 8, 2008 @06:46pm EST Saturday morning, nearly 1,500 people ate like kings.
They also supported a great cause.
The Sullivan County Agriculture Day Breakfast was a success. Three scholarships were given to Sullivan High School seniors. For only $1 folks received a pancake and sausage breakfast and could visit nearly 70 vendors. There was more than just food at this event, visitors had plenty so see and do. "We also have a kiddie peddle pull for tractors. We have a petting zoo so the kids can see some different animals. We have all the exhibitors and we also have a silent auction," said Tammy Swihart from the Agriculture Day Committee. For more than 30 years the Agriculture Day event has been running strong. |
