     Then, be sure to check out the how-to-video at Wikihow dot com. It offers several tips on carving the pumpkin, like using a template to get the perfect design. Learn how to making glowing parts by making disconnected cuts and scrapes and not cutting all the way through. And if you use petroleum jelly you can keep the edges of the carving from turning brown.
