Even though it’s un-curable, arthritis doesn't have to make life unmanageable. In Sullivan Thursday, the Arthritis Foundation partnered with Purdue University in an event called 'Arthritis and Agriculture.' Officials came to answer questions and teach individuals with arthritis how to restore energy and strength. Bill Field a professor at Purdue University is raising awareness about arthritis treatments. “We're going to try and make them fairly aware that there is no cure for arthritis but you can manage the affects through better living habits. Such as, exercise and weight loss which both will affect the problems associated with arthritis," said Field. For more information on managing arthritis click here |
