Skip the kitchen and go out to dinner for a good cause.

The Terre Haute Applebees restaurant is hosting "Dining To Donate" Wednesday night.

15 percent of each purchase at the restaurant will go to benefit "Keep Terre Haute Beautiful."

The organization will use the money to send a representative to the national "Keep America Beautiful" conference in Washington DC.

The restaurant says the donation is just a small thing they can do for the community.

"We consider ourselves part of the community," said manager Annie Swan. "And the he community is what gives us business and keep our jobs going so we want to give back to the community, It's one of the ways we can and that's the way we do it."

Dining To Donate is going on at the South Third Street Applebees until they close at midnight.
