A famous Hoosier journalist was featured Friday at the Vigo County Library.  A historical re-enactor presented his one-person play, "Hi, I'm Ernie Pyle."

Gary Morrison wrote the play based on Pyle's stories and experiences while he was covering World War Two.

Morrison says his goal is to preserve our nation's history. “We're losing veterans at an alarming rate. I think I heard 11,000 almost daily. Young people no longer know are not really learning that history of the war. So this is in part to keep that memory alive.”

After the presentation, Morrison did a question and answer session with the audience about Ernie Pyle.
