Sr. Master Phil Minton has been studying Martial Arts for over 47 years. He has a vast experience in many different types of Martial Arts. Sr. Master Minton has also trained and tested before some of the highest and most respected Masters of Martial Arts in the world. He has also won a numerous amount of tournaments and national recognition and is considered to be one of the top Martial Arts instructors in America.
In 1994, Sr. Master Minton was presented with a certificate from Govenor Bayh for his completion of 30 years of service with the Indiana Public School System. Sr. Master Minton has also been very active in the promotion of Martial Arts in the state of Indiana. In 2002, Sr. Master Minton was presented with the state's most prestigious award "Sagamore of the Wabash" given to an Indiana resident for exceling in his chosen field ("Martial Arts"). Sr. Master Minton also initiated the introduction of Martial Arts at Indiana State University. He served on the staff at Indiana State University, where he taught Judo, Taekwondo, and Self Defense. Sr. Master Minton is also a nationally recognized professional. He has been featured on the covers of popular Martial Arts magazines. A couple of the magazines he has been seen on is "Taekwondo World" and "The Way of Traditional Taekowndo".
