    Organic Garden/Alpaca Farm Summer Day Camp - June 17-21, 2013 Where: White Violet Center for Eco-Justice When: 8 a.m. to noon (EDT) (drop-off 7:45-7:55 a.m., pickup by 12:15 p.m.) Cost: $90 ($80 for WVC CSA shareholders and SP/SMWC staff) Registration deadline: June 7 For 3rd- through 5th-graders. (Includes children entering the 3rd grade in the fall up to those who have completed 5th grade and will be entering 6th grade in the fall.) Activities include planting a garden, visiting the alpacas, creating a worm farm, exploring the world of bees, exploring the trails, and games galore. Drinks and snacks will be provided.     Stroke Support Group for Survivors and Family - Stroke Support Group for Survivors and Family. Come to Union Hospital’s support group and learn how to live your best life after a stroke! If you or a family member have experienced a stroke and are interested in learning more about how to address the physical, mental and emotional changes, join us for our next support group meeting 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. This support group meets the third Thursday of every month in the Medical Rehab Unit, 4th Floor of Union West, 8th Avenue entrance, 1606 N. 7th St. These educational support group meetings are designed to allow people who have experienced a stroke to share their experiences and lend support throughout the recovery process.
