If you think you've seen Katie on NBC 2 in the past... you're right! Katie joined the NBC 2 news team as a reporter in November 2006. In May 2012 she joined forces with longtime friend Julie Henricks to report for and occasionally co-host the lifestyle and entertainment show, Good Day Live!
Before moving to the Wabash Valley, Katie got her start as a sports reporter and producer for Fox Sports South in Atlanta.
Although a native of Louisville Kentucky, Katie thinks of herself as a true Hoosier. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
Heavily involved in the community, Katie is a member of the Terre Haute Young Leaders, United Way Campaign Committee, Altrusa International of Terre Haute, Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and a board member of the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center.
In her free time Katie likes to spend time with her husband Ryan and their two "babies"; puppy Wrigley and cat Allie. Katie and Ryan's first baby is due Thanksgiving 2012.
