Valley County Has Lowest Jobless Rate

Daviess County's rate is at 6.3%. Martin is the fourth lowest and Knox is the sixth.
On the other end, Vermillion County is tied for the second highest unemployment rate in Indiana.
There has been an increase in manufacturing jobs along with the financial and professional sectors.
The most lost jobs are in private education and health, leisure and hospitality and construction.
The overall state average is 10.6 %.
