Clabber Girl Almond Milk Cornbread

Clabber Girl Almond Milk Cornbread

Yield: 1 8x8 or 9x9 pan


Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Spray an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish with cooking spray.


In a medium bowl, mix the following ingredients.


1 C. yellow cornmeal

1 C. all purpose flour

4 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder

2 TBS sugar

½ tsp. salt


In a separate bowl, mix the following ingredients.


1 C. almond milk

¼ C. canola oil

1 egg


Pour wet mixture into dry mixture and stir until completely blended.

Pour into prepared baking dish. Bake in a preheated 425 oven for 20-23 minutes or until golden and the center comes out clean when a toothpick is inserted.
