Coconut Pecan Frosting

1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine milk, sugar, yolks, butter and vanilla in pan.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens (approx. 3-5 minutes after butter melts).  Remove from heat.  Add coconut and pecans.  Beat until cool and thick.
