Clabber Girl Recipe - Granola

Granola
3 c. rolled oats
1 c. slivered or sliced almonds
1 c. walnuts or other nuts
3/4 c. shredded, sweetened coconut ( optional )
1/4 c. + 2 TBSP brown sugar
1/4 c. + 2 TBSP maple syrup
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins, dried cranberries, dried cherries or other dried fruits ( or a mixture )
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, coconut and brown sugar
In a separate bowl, combine the maple syrup, oil and salt
Combine both mixtures and pour onto 2 ungreased sheet pans
Bake for one hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes
Remove from oven and transfer to a large bowl
Add raisins and mix
Store in airtight container or bag
