If you've waited until the last minute to buy your dad a Father's Day gift, you might want to consider going with some of the newest gadgets.

"People like to show it off, it's like look what I have, and they love to show it to their friends and family members.  So it's a good time to see what's new," said AT&T representative Brian Ducharme.

The clock is ticketing to get your dad the perfect gift, and at&t officials say they have options for everyone on your list.

"There's the Nokia Lumina which has been a great popular phone for us. Just $99 smartphone that allows you to customize your apps, and it's just a real easy phone to use," said Ducharme.

And if your dad already has the latest smartphone, there are plenty of accessories to help him get the most out of his device.

"There's an iPhone clock where you can actually... it doubles as an alarm clock, you can play your music on it.  There's great new covers, there's extra battery chargers, the last hung you want to do is have a real cool phone and not be able to use it," said Ducharme.

There are also tablets to meet every dad's needs.

Pantech has a one that is perfect for summer getaways.

"Summertime people are out and about more by pools, by lakes, doing water sports and this one is actually waterproof, so not just water resistant, waterproof," said Ducharme.

And reps say don't for get about ways to take your devices on the go.

There are many different varieties of speakers and headphones to choose from.

"People today especially with smartphones, are using it as their entertainment device.  Whether they watch movies on it, maybe listen to music. We have some great sound accessories," said Ducharme.

But officials say the most important thing you can give you dad is the peace of mind that comes hands-free accessories.

"It's really important that when our customers are using their devices that they're using them safely. So we have everything from in car headsets to the Bluetooth headsets," said Ducharme.
