Country music acts took to the stage Thursday night for a free concert at Fairbanks Park.

HI-99 hosted its annual Thanks for Listening Summer Bash. This year's concert celebrated the station's 30th anniversary.

The concert featured recording artist Lee Bryce, singer, songwriter and actress Jana Kramer, and the Valley's own Abbi Scott--who got her start thanks to HI-99.

"She was the HI-99 Texaco Country Showdown winner. She won that the year before last and since then she has went on to bigger and better things. She's been in a Nashville, she's been recording, she's been writing. She's got a new video out, she's got a song out and she's got an album out. The little gal is really really going," says Barry Kent of the HI-99 morning show.

A big crowd came out to the concert that lasted well into the evening
