Last December flames engulfed Gimbel Corner in downtown Vincennes.
The debris left behind, and the question of who will clean it up, has been an issue ever since.
The previous owner of the property donated it to the Pantheon Theatre Company last week.
Travis Tarrants, president of the non-profit company, has been looking for a contractor since taking over the project.
A contractor from Bloomington, Indiana is coming to look at the property on Thursday.
Travis says even if the property is sold the money will go towards renovating the theater.

Travis Tarrants- President Pantheon Theatre Company
"Since we're a non-profit...even if we sell it for a couple thousand dollars...that's a lot of money to us. We're kind of killing two birds with one stone. And we're trying to save the city from using tax payer dollars to clean it up."

Travis wants the people of Vincennes to know he has every intention of finding a company to clean up the mess.
He also doesn't anticipate any legal action from the city being necessary.
