An annual event benefits four legged friends in the community.
The three mile charity walk raises money for the Terre Haute Humane Society.
Dozens of pet owners showed up at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute this morning.
Dogs showed off their different shapes, sizes, and colors with a stroll in the park.
Organizers say this is the first year all the proceeds go directly to the humane society.
"It means so much to see this many responsible pet owners from Terre Haute out here. They're all supporting the Terre Haute Humane Society which is great because there are so many dogs that need homes; our shelter is full right now, and the more funds we can raise the more animals we can save," said Stephanie Miller with the Terre Haute Humane Society.
Organizers say they hope to continue the event next year.
