A Shelburn, Indiana man is dead after rolling his pickup truck into a body of water.

Indiana State Police received a 911 call at 1:26 Sunday morning that the truck was in a private pond near the corner of County Roads 75 North and 150 East in Sullivan County.

Two troopers arrived to find the red 1933 Ford pickup rolled on the passenger side in about three feet of water.

Efforts to free the man by the troopers, a State Police diver, and a Sullivan City firefighter were unsuccessful.

State Police believe the truck was east bound on CR 75 when the driver failed to stop at the intersection.

He ran over the stop sign, then went over an embankment into the pond.

State Police identify the victim as 43 year old Richard Enstrom, Junior of Shelburn.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.

We'll bring you more information as it becomes available.

Although I did not know Richard Enstrom, my heart goes out to his family and friends. I am praying for God's comfort to be with them. Erika, I am very sorry for your loss. My guess is that those who, "liked," the story was, "liking," it as a way to say they care. I know that seems strange, but I have seen many people like posts as a way to say, "I care." certainly hope and truly believe this is most like,y the case. My prayers, and the prayers of many others will continue for you and your family. Patty Horn

Also, whoever the 19 people are that "liked" this story: where is your heart, exactly? Wow.

Dear Whomever thought putting this photo up was a good idea, I will have you know the people whom tragedies occur to have FAMILIES. This man is a father to many and loved by many more. Why would you need a photo to accompany this story? I understand that reporting everything newsworthy is your job, but tact would also be appreciated. Our family does not need to see photos of the accident like this when they are already going through so much. Are you wanting the people who are curious and nosey to come to your website based on this? What exactly is that angle. If God forbid, your family member were injured or killed, would you want this published? Would you want any photos published? No. I am not the only person that feels this way, as I am sure you can guess. It seems you "capture the moment" every time. I understand that all news stations feel the need to do this, but I as well as many others would really appreciate some respect. When you are hurting this photo does not aid in any healing process. So please, if you won't take this photo down, please spare another family of what you are putting mine through.
