National Champs....Again!

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
It was a day to celebrate at Honey Creek Middle School after one team there was crowned National Champions for the 2nd year in a row. The school held a pep rally for the 5 students who travelled to Denver, Colorado this summer to compete in a science bowl competition against middle schoolers from all over the country!! And an added bonus to the festivities, the superintendent of all schools in the state of Indiana made a congratulatory visit: "I think it sets a wonderful example for all of our other students in the state of Indiana. Science and math are so important today. More imporant than they`ve ever been in the history of education in this country or probably in the history of the world," says State Superintendent Suellen Reed. One team member will be on the team again this year, and is hoping for a third-in-a-row national win.
