Terre Haute Golf Courses Announce Opening Dates

Here's a sign that spring is right around the corner.

The Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department announced Thursday the opening dates for the city's golf courses.

Rea Park on Terre Haute's south side will open Monday, weather permitting.

Hulman Links Golf Course on the city's east side is not expected to open until March 15 due to a drainage pipe replacement. Until it opens, 2013 Hulman Links season passes will be honored at Rea Park.

The Parks Department says golfers can call the pro shops to reserve tee times: Rea Park (812) 232-0709 and Hulman Links (812) 877-2096.
