It was another last-second finish for Indiana State against Evansville in the MVC Tourney Friday afternoon. Tied at 50 with 2.5 seconds left, Justin Gant makes his second free throw, giving ISU a 51-50 lead. On the inbounds play, Evansville's Ned Cox gets an open lane to the basket, but Devonte Brown rejects his attempt and the Sycamores hang on, 51-50 the final. Brown lead the Sycamores with 11 points, but his block at the end sends ISU into the semi-finals.

The Sycamores will face top-seeded Creighton Saturday afternoon. Jason Pensky has a report from St. Louis.
