The Linton Miners are the only Wabash Valley team standing after a wild regional weekend across the state. Down 1 with under a minute to go Saturday against Perry Central in the Regional Championship, the Miners end the game on a 9-3 run to get the win, 68-63. It's the school's first regional title since 1946. Dess Fougerousse was named Regional MVP.
Up next for the Miners, they will travel to Richmond Saturday for a showdown with Speedway in the semi-state. Much more on the Miners' run later this week on NBC 2.
