If you want to spruce up your home this spring, you can find some ideas this weekend to help you out.

The Home Show kicked off Friday at Hulman Center in Terre Haute.

A variety of vendors are at the event, ranging from flooring, to landscaping, to furnace and air conditioning vendors, to name a few.

There is even entertainment for kids.

Organizers say they're happy with this year's turnout and the number of vendors participating.

"Maybe the economy is more upbeat. I don't know that it's a lot better, but I think people have a positive attitude about what's going on. We're probably up ten to fifteen more vendors than we were last year and the downstairs is really crowded," says Dennis Meneely from Meneely Construction in Brazil.

The Home Show continues this weekend at Hulman Center.

It's from 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday and from noon to 5 PM on Sunday.

The cost to get in is $3 or you can bring two non-perishable canned goods.

Parking is free.
