By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A diesel spill caused quite a traffic jam in Greene County on Friday. A tanker carrying 7,000 gallons of diesel fuel overturned on State Road 45 near County Road 350 North. Almost 200 gallons of fuel leaked out of the tanker, and a Hazmat team was called in to contain the leak and help with the cleanup. State Road 45 was closed to traffic for several hours. The truck driver, Robert Marner, 36, of Odon, was taken to Bloomington Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
