Sunday morning on NBC's 'Meet the Press', Savannah Guthrie spoke with Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels.
He talked about the timing of the president's Martha's Vineyard vacation... the prospects for the economy... and if Governor Daniels has had any second thoughts about deciding not to run for president.
"I think our family's at peace that we made the decision that is right for us, and it was made as a family" said Governor Daniels. "So I think this race can do fine without me. I do hope to be constructive in some way or another, and I'll look for some supporting role."
Daniels says the country also needs to raise a lot more revenue, which means, in his opinion, a new tax system with fewer loopholes and lower rates.
