It's called the Winter Survival Kit, but it's not like the one you store in the trunk of your car. It's a smartphone application, one that guides you when the unthinkable happens, even in the most dangerous situations.
First and foremost, the app provides you with your current GPS location to relay to emergency officials. Contcact them with the press of a button.
It allows you to store a contact list. The application will advise you how many hours of fuel you have left. It alerts you when you should turn your car off to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
"If it's something free that could enhance what's already available on the phone, of course, I would definitely look into it."
I think it would maybe save lives, which would be a very good thing."
