Walker to Play Football for ISU

We are 8 weeks away from the start of the college football season, and the Indiana State Sycamores added an extra boost. Former Sycamore basketball player, Myles Walker, will play for Coach Trent Miles and the football team this upcoming season.

According to the Tribune-Star, the 6'8'', 250 lbs Walker is expected to workout with the defensive unit first. The Texas native came out of high school as a highly touted football recruit, but chose to play basketball. After being on the basketball team for 2 years, Myles has 1 year left of eligibility. He signed a scholarship this week and will being his preparations. 
 
Indiana State opens up the college football season on September 1 in Bloomington against Indiana. The game is set for the Big Ten Network.
