The Clay County Fair is beginning to wrap up.

All week 4-H members have been showing off their animals, and taking in the fun.

Friday kids launched off rockets they built, and put their brains to the test in an agriculture competition.

Organizers say the fair was a success and keeps people coming back year after year.

"We've been really fortunate that our fair has gone really well this year.  It's been a little cooler this week than it was a couple weeks ago and that's been much of a relief to our participants and the animals," said 4-H president Dianna Knox.  "The 4-H fair for many of us it's the highlight of their year and we're really proud of the fair we put on and we're proud of the people and the kids."

The fair ends Saturday at 5 p.m. with a Mud Bog.
