Election Preps Underway

We're just three months away from the November elections, and the Vigo County Election Board is making sure its prepared.
Members held a meeting this morning to discuss plans for the next four years.
They approved a contract to spend around $900,000 on machines and maintenance through 2016, that will now go to the County Commissioners for approval.
This year also marks the end of Vigo County Clerk Pat Mansard's term, she says she will never forget her time in the position and those who voted for her.
"All of the money that goes through the court system and then we conduct the elections and those are all positions of great trust and so I'm honored to have been doing that and safe guarding all of those systems for all of these years," said Mansard
The next election board meeting is scheduled for October 23.
