The Terre Haute Rex began their final homestand of the regular season Saturday night as they hosted the Hannibal Cavemen. The Cavemen jumped out to an early 7-0 lead and never looked back, winning game 1 of the series, 14-6. The Rex scored 3 runs in the 6th, and 3 more in the 7th, but it wasn't enough.

The same two teams will do battle Sunday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. The final home game of the regular season is Monday night against Danville. The Rex will face the Dubois County Bombers in the Western Division Playoff Tuesday night in Huntingburg at 7:15 p.m.
