A local group is asking for your help, to help others.

Volunteers are needed for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Vigo County.

Kids aged 6 though 14 can sign up for a "Big" - a mentor who's there to talk and have some fun.

But, there's not enough volunteers for all of the "Littles," so they're forced to go on a wait list until someone is available.

"Well there's not many people I can go out and do things with so really Tom is a good help," said Little Brother Nathan Swetland, a 7th grader. "Most people, they've been on the waiting list and a lot of people would like to have Big Brothers or Big Sisters, and I think it'd be fair for them to have one too."
