Terre Haute area police agencies were tied up on Saturday night, after reports of a shooting. Police responded to Terre Haute`s northside at 19th and Locust streets. Police say about 200 people had gathered near the intersection when they arrived. Terre Haute Police say 8 shots from a 9 mm handgun were fired, and one victim went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A neighbor, Charise Lockette, says the disagreement started inside the King of Diamonds Lounge and she`s fed up. "If you are all going to fight, get down and fight, you know...why do you all need guns? Why you all trying to kill people over some stupid stuff?" So far, no arrests have been made in relation to the shooting and police have not released a suspect name or description.
