The Vigo County Public Library has begun the holiday Buy-a-Book campaign with the Jingle Books tree.

This year, the Library has erected a six foot tree in the lobby with a banner "Jingle books, jingle books, Buy-a-Book this way.  Donate to the Library, choose your book today!"  All the ornaments on the tree are books that the Library would like to own along with the Buy-a-Book envelopes.  Patrons may select the book/ornament of their choosing, pick up and envelope and drop it off with their check at the Reference or Community Service Departments.  The books will be ordered and their name will be on the book plate inside.  The Jingle Books selection would work as an honorary gift or for a book purchased in memory of a special person.

The Library has a traveling Jingle Books tree that is available for use outside the building.  Call 812-232-1113 x2303 to make arrangements.  Donations made to Buy-a-Book are tax deductible.
