If you're like me and think this cold weather is cold enough, than you'll be shocked to see what hundreds of locals got into Saturday morning.
From bikini's to briefs.... around 200 locals stripped down to take a dip in a freezing cold pool this morning at Indiana State's Hulman Center.
Getting cold...er is fine for folks involved in the annual Polar Plunge because it's for a good cause.
All the money raised goes towards Indiana Special Olympics.
The goal was $20,000 and this year they drew in more than $25,000.
"The money goes to the athletes so they'll be able to participate in the summer games. It's amazing to see those athletes come and be the center of attention," said organizer Bill Mercier.
"It's exciting just because you're jumping in freezing cold water in the middle of winter for those who can't. We enjoy it and we'll do it again next year, we love it," said participant Meghan Carney.
