Police Catch Man Who Led Chase w/ Mobile Meth Lab

By: Jon Swaner
Updated: February 9, 2013
One man is in jail after leading police on a high speed chase while toting a mobile meth lab in his vehicle.

A passing motorist flagged down police at Springhill Drive and 9th Street and told them a white van was driving erratically.

That same van eluded a conservation officer earlier in the evening.

Officers found the van at Windsor and 7th.

A chase ensued, and ended in the Long John Silver's parking lot by the mall.

A man ran from the van, only to be delayed by a passing motorist.

The suspect, identified as William Moody, told police there was an active mobile meth lab in the van he abandoned.

Drug Task Force officers were able to dismantle the lab.

Moody was taken to jail on meth manufacturing and fleeing charges.
