Terre Haute Prepares for Athletes

Athletes from across the nation are in Terre Haute for the NCAA National Cross Country meet.
The athletes will compete Monday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
The women will compete in a 6K race at noon, followed by the men who will race the 10K route at 1:15pm.
The Wabash Valley Family Sports Center says the course, although a little soggy, is ready for the athletes.
And Pino`s Italian Cuisine prepared a meal for 12 teams Sunday evening.
Pino`s says they are using this opportunity to announce to the community they will be open on Sundays beginning in a few weeks.
The Wabash Valley Family Sports Center says the volunteers are an important part of the preparations.
Gates at the LaVern Gibson course open at 9am.
Admission is $5.00.
