Indiana Congressman Larry Bucshon  stopped in his Terre Haute office to meet with local constituents.

We asked the Congressman for his thoughts on 'The Sequester."

Specifically, we asked him if the Sequester passes, what impacts will Hoosiers see on them.

"Ultimately, you won't see much of an impact at all," said Congressman Bucshon.  "We've increased discretionary spending since 2008 by a dramatic amount.  So in actual fact, the two percent of the federal budget that's going to be cut by this should not have a dramatic effect on Hoosiers."

Bucshon expects the Sequester deadline to pass without a deal in place, meaning the budget cuts will take place.

He says House Republicans will then work to try to better prioritize them for the departments affected.
