5 different Wabash Valley teams entered regionals Saturday, and now only 1 of them remains. For the first time since 1946, the Linton Miners are heading to the semi-state after beating Perry Central, 68-63 in the regional. Linton will play Speedway next Saturday.

Barr-Reeve was the only other team from the Valley to advance to the regional championship, but the Vikings come up short against Borden, 43-42 the final.

#1 and undefeated Rockville falls to Lafayette Central Catholic, 65-55. The Rox finish the year 25-1. Clay City and Vincennes-Lincoln also come up short Saturday in regional action.

Much more on the Linton Miners and their big win Sunday night at 11 on NBC 2.
