The task force is made up of four detectives who are working full-time to crack down on meth and meth-related incidents in the Putnamville District.
That includes Parke, Vermillion, Vigo, Clay, Sullivan and Putnam Counties.
Last year, over 1,700 labs across the state were busted - the highest it's ever been - and police need your help.
"People in this area, in the Wabash Valley, they know meth amphetamine is a problem. They've seen it in their backyard, they've seen it in the family, they seen it in their neighbors. So once we are trying to do something pro-active. The cries have come out from the public for law enforcement to do something, said Indiana State Police Sgt. Joe Watts.
To make a tip, call the Putnamville Post at (765) 653-4114 or toll-free (800) 225-8576 (Indiana only).
All callers can remain anonymous.
