Daisy became the WTWO
Newshound in May 2009. She has become a very important member of the NBC 2 news and promotions team. Her former experience includes time at the Terre Haute Humane
Society, where she was discovered by talent scouts from WTWO-TV and was
invited to join the team.
Since her arrival, Daisy has appeared in several
promotions and advertisements, and has already met many residents of the Wabash
Valley as she tries to attend as many live events as she can. Daisy has already
received awards and we anticipate she will go on to earn more accolades during
her tenure here at the station.
Her goal is to educate the Valley about
adoption and support of local Humane Societies, the importance of microchipping
and promoting good health as she works closely with Dr. Shew from the Town and
Country Veterinary Clinic. She also hopes to spread goodwill through the Valley
with her winning personality.
